Background:
Colin was born in Adelaide in 1960 and has lived here most of his life. He has spent three years working as an engineer in Whyalla and three years in Scandinavia.
Personal:
Colin is married with two children and a third on the way. He is a committed Christian and strongly believes in the importance of family values. He opposes euthanasia, abortion, pornography and illegal drugs. He believes in stronger punishments for law breakers. Colin has a broad understanding of what George Bush called 'the New World Order' (i.e. World Government) and believes both Labor and Liberal are taking Australia down this road. He believes that Australia should be governed by Australians and owned by Australians. He believes that all migrants, regardless of race, must be committed to Australia if they want to live here.
Colin is a Monarchist because he understands the advantage of having a Governor as an "umpire" between the people and the government. He believes the republican models have no effective "umpire" and would therefore be a disadvantage to the people. Colin believes in the decentralising of power rather than the present trend of Canberra amassing power over the States, and the United Nations amassing power over countries.
Experience:
Colin is a qualified Mechanical Engineer and works as a consultant around the state for various companies.
Why One Nation?
our policy direction to treat all Australians as equals regardless of race.
our policy direction to treat Aborigines the same as whites, not better, not worse.
our policy direction to assist Australians on a needs basis rather than on a race basis.
our commitment to Community Based Referenda rather than the present system where only the government can initiate a referendum.
our policy direction to limit immigration to only those who would be immediately useful to Australia, with the view that immigration can increase when our unemployment problem is solved.
our policy direction of putting Australian industry first, ahead of those of other countries.
Colin experienced a feeling of great relief when Pauline Hanson said what many Australians were afraid to say because of political correctness.
