Background:
Suzanne was born in 1952, is married with two teenage children. She was educated at Port Pirie Primary school and completed her education at St. Peter's Girl's College, leaving to take up an apprenticeship as a hairdresser with David Jones S.A.
Experience:
On completion of her apprenticeship, Suzanne travelled Europe and Asia. Loving a challenge, she became owner of two businesses in the city of Adelaide.
Suzanne married an agricultural pilot and spent 18 years travelling Australia's country and outback areas gaining valuable knowledge.
Why One Nation?
Suzanne became involved with Pauline Hanson's One Nation because Pauline's policies are based on commonsense.
We have a $260 billion debt our present government feels free to ignore. Labor and Liberal together allow 90% of corporate Australia to be foreign owned. The Liberal government has allowed 100% foreign ownership of our banks.
Many of our manufacturers have been forced into third world countries. Removal of tariff protection has taken away our security and caused higher unemployment, higher taxes and a degradation of our standard of living.
Labor and Liberal are selling off our Australian assets. What happened to the 51% Australian controlled policy?
We are a wealthy country and yet Howard says we're part of economically challenged Asia.
Mr. Beazley says we need to be a Republic.
The people's voices are not heard. The politicians excuse - "referendums are too expensive!" Yet they find the money at election time for publicising their policies! They can afford to give billions of our dollars to corrupt overseas countries! What's the price of a piece of paper? We are being gagged!
One Nation is about holding People's Referendums (Community Based Referendums) on major political decisions. If this is a democracy - let the people speak!
Fight for the independence and democratic rights of our children - fight for equal rights for all Australians!
