To Whom it may concern,

My name is Brent Cxxxxx, I am 13 and a student at xxxxxx which is academically selective. I would like to point out that I support the One Nation political party. Recently I was entering the school gate when I was approached by a person who was handing out pamphlets. The pamphlets where about attending a 'Anti-Hanson walkout'.

They told me that I should go as Pauline Hanson is a Bad person, I then responded politely by telling them where to shove it. It seems to me that you have a lot of Australian youths against you. I do not know if you have a youth contact or a youth spokes-person, but if you don't I would be glad to do that for you. You are probably thinking, Why do I need a youth spokes-person?

Well I'll tell you. Youths like all adults have political views, but these views are more impresionable and these views are even more impresionable when they are being addressed by one of their peers, like myself. Although youths can't vote now they will be able to in the future and although you may think you don't need these votes now, I can tell you that you will need them in the future. Also rember if you don't do anything to gain these youths respect they may be forced to vote for the Labour or Liberal party, now do you really want that?

(GWB Note the schoolyard brochure handout is being organised by the communist based and Labor backed Resistance)

This is what the Democratic Socialists (the over 20s) side of Resistance have to say about their Gay and Lesbian policy for schools:

The integration of positive material on lesbians and gay men into relevant curricula in all schools, colleges and universities, and the establishment of programs to combat anti-lesbian and anti-gay prejudice in schools.

Did your child protest today? If so have you considered what he or she is supporting?

Here are some other letters from children and students.

Transcript of Alan Jones on Channel 9's Today Show, Friday 24th July 1998:

Well it's not been a good week for democracy in this country.

Last Sunday in Melbourne a rally by a legitimate and registered political party had to cancelled because a group of screaming thugs launched a violent attack on free speech.

Well it gets worse.

Apparently encourage by teachers and given the blessing by sections of the media and in some cases apparently even permitted or even persuaded by their parents, today we will seed a collection of apprentice thugs wagging school around the nation to protest against Pauline Hanson's One Nation party.

According to a breathless article by some fool journalist earlier in the week, the student's message will be "No to Hanson, no to Howard, no to racism".

Note how John Howard gets roped in no matter what. Now this outfit is being organised by a group called Resistance Socialist Youth Organisation. This organisation holds Cuba as its model of democratic freedom. In other words it wants a socialist system based on the Cuban system. No one can question the right of these people to publicly air their views - that's not the issue.

The issue is that these people are recruiting school kids who quite frankly don't know what these people are about. Yesterday school children as young as 12 were folding pamphlets and making placards for today under pictures of Karl Marx and the Cuban flag. Make no mistake our kids are being manipulated for political purposes

Its mantra is not maths, its banners is not books, its slogans not spelling, its thuggery not thoughts.

These are the catch cries. Surely to god education ministers and high school principles And the Catholic education service and the boards of private schools have a responsibility. Schools should be inculcating tolerance and respect for the right of others to hold a dissenting or minority point of view.

Surely Australians are not going to cop a situation when students are being used as pawns in a fairly dirty political game.

Subject: HI there

Just a little bit of interest.

I am 17 years old and I go to Boarding School an in my final senior year. Today at school I found plastered around the whole school that some local high school students were planning a high school students against racism rally a campaign against One Nation. On the two sided sheet displayed absolute rubbish about Pauline Hanson One Nation and their policies. What is the world coming to??

I am only a school student we are not yet ready to vote though I could guess who the dole bludgers who are holding this insane movement. I am a 100% Pualine Hanson One Nation SUPPORTER evern though I am young. I love the party and policies and I think she is going to do really well in the Federal Election. She had phenomenal support but people are too scared to admit to it.

Please read carefully.
the flyer is stupid.
Thanks
jenna

Subject: My support of one nation and a youth spokes-person.

I am 15, live in NSW and go to a private college. I am a person angry at some immigrant crimes. I am not racist, and have several friends originally from other countries all over the world. However I hate immigrants who bring their crime with them. I beleive this is our major problem. What Australia must do is clean up their immigration act, by getting rid of the crime and bringing in those who can help this country and make it prosper.

I am glad finally someone had enough guts to stand up to immigrant crime allowed to come in by past polititions.

I also support a youth spokes- person.

Thank you.
