"The Centre for Democracy at the University of Queensland is democratic in name only", Queensland One Nation Leader Bill Feldman disclosed today in response to an advertisement in the Courier Mail.
"The public forum entitled 'One Nation Party: Past, Present and Future' will be presented on the 17th of November by 'leading political scientists' and will critically examine the ideology and policies of One Nation. The only problem is that no One Nation representative will be given an opportunity to formally address the audience," Mr Feldman said.
"How can we ensure the presentation will be factual and balanced unless I, or senator-elect Heather Hill, or some other knowledgeable person can address the meeting" Mr Feldman said. "My office has attempted to arrange an opportunity for me or someone else from One Nation to speak at the meeting, but the organisers don't seem to be interested in giving us a go."
It is believed that one of the "experts" who will address the meeting will be Peter Jull, who played a major role in the creation of the separate indigenous state in Canada called Nunavut. Mr Jull is also believed to favour the creation of a separate Aboriginal state in Australia. Last year Pauline Hanson exposed Mr Jull's involvement with the Aboriginal industry in Federal Parliament.
"It could be that the Centre for Democracy merely has an axe to grind against One Nation. They are not interested in the truth or democracy, and that is why they won't let me speak at the meeting", said Mr Feldman.
