This weekend we read reports that the Malaysian Prime Minister has told Victorian Premier Jeff Kennett that "Mrs Hanson must be wiped out".
The reason given by Kennett is that Mahathir allegedly "fears that her anti-Asian views have wide support in Australia".
"I think he (Dr Mahathir) was also hopeful that my obvious desire to see One Nation removed from the political agenda would occur," Kennett told reporters. There are not the words of Mahathir - these are words that Kennett claims Mahathir made.
Jeff Kennett's official reason for visiting Malaysia is to push back the anti-Asian perspective allegedly resulting from the rise of One Nation. It does, however, and quite remarkably link in perfectly with the launch of the Commonwealth Games in this Asian country which stands out like a beacon as the most racist of countries in our region.
This is the politics of lies and hypocrisy. Misinformation deliberately fed to a friendly, un-Australian media who regurgitate Kennett's lies as truth without ever questioning the reason for his visit.
The story makes the front page of Murdoch's Weekend Australian under the headline "Wipe out Hanson: Mahathir".
Quote from the Indigenous Peoples Caucus in Geneva:
"We are thinking about the Indigenous People in the Forests of Malaysia where the Government is chopping trees down and destroying their homes and their lives.
"This is Genocide."
Like the much publicised RaceWatch promoted by the Jewish B'nai B'rith Anti-Defamation Commission the hypocrisy of politicians and pressure groups in Australia - and more importantly the manner in which the media accept it - is a blazing signpost to all Australians that something is indeed wrong with our so-called democracy.
Here is an extract from The Jewish Communication Forum on the Internet:
All I am saying is, give us the dignity of a state, else you are condemning generations of Israelis to death (perhaps all at once from a single bomb) and generations of Palestinians to servitude as dogs in a racist regime no better than South Africa ever was.
Frankly I'd rather be opressed by my own people than by an army of Gods chosen ones.
Look at the $2billion rebuilding of Beirut. I for one will return to PALESTINE and I will rebuild it with my sweat, blood, and money, so will many others. I don't care if foreign industries do not pour in, it is their loss and our gain.
and another:
Sami, Your simple-minded and wholesale hatred (or maybe fear?) of everybody who does not fit into your shallow definition of the world is astounding! In one fell swoop you dismiss Christians, The Arabs, Muslims and any Jew not living in Israel as not fit to live. I lived in Israel for 10 years, served my time in the IDF and voted Likud all the way until I saw what enforcing the "Status Quo" really meant: Subjugation and eradication of a people and culture. You should be ashamed of yourself.
