The One Nation executive made up of Pauline Hanson, David Oldfield and David Ettridge were all re-appointed after standing down. There were no contenders for their positions although there were a large number of people who stood for the fourth and fifth positions on the executive.
There were some lighter moments. After being democratically elected by the delegates David Oldfield stood at the podium and after thanking the assembly for their support turned to Pauline Hanson and said, "You see they don't all hate me. I must tell you that a lot of people like me."
When David Ettridge was appointed Oldfield turned to him and said, "I told you your physical lack of appeal would not stand in your way."
Later David Ettridge replied, "I told David Oldfield that he shouldn't have said that about me as a lot of our members look like that."
