The delegates meet the press

After the Rooty Hill RSL Club board decided not to allow the press into the building it was decided to go out and meet the press in the car park.

Earlier the delegates had overwhelmingly voted to allow the media to come into the venue... but the RSL management refused entry.

Images below: Oldfield briefs the media as the delegates leave the Club to show support for the One Nation leadership; the book the media love to hate "Murder by Media" being proudly displayed by several of those who went out to meet the media..

Oldfield and Pauline Hanson address the media.

If you are to believe The Daily Telegraph's Chief Political Reporter, Malcolm Farr, "Outside, there was a call for three cheers for Mrs Hanson from the 300 delegates who had convened al fresco.

"They boomed across the car park. There was another call for cheers for reporters, which had a significantly less robust response.

"There was a final call for three cheers for David Oldfield can the reply could barely be heard above the rattle of the pokies inside.

"But Mr Oldfield had succeeded in getting Mrs Hanson before the cameras even if he had to fight her, her instincts and the keepers of the RSL flame to do so."

But there again who believes Malcolm Farr.... 300 delegates.... once again a picture tells a thousand words...

For the record there was no call for three cheers for David Oldfield that I heard... Pauline Hanson received a booming response to the same call... while the pokie machines were over 50 metres away - and could not be heard... but just another bit of poetic license by dishonest reporters embarking in poetic license.
