Why do I pay in US Dollars on my credit card?
Unfortunately, at this time, the only secure credit card server available
to us is in the USA. The service only accepts US Dollars. Once an Australian
option is available we will establish this billing in Australian dollars.
Can I pay any other way?
Yes, but for administrative purposes we prefer subscribers to pay by
credit card. You can pay be cheque or postal order on a monthly basis by
doing the following:
What happens when I subscribe by Credit Card?
You will be provided with two numbers by US based iBill (The Internet
Billing Company) - the company that validates all credit card payments.
One of these numbers is called a Transaction number;
the other is a Subscription number. It is very important that you keep
these numbers in a safe place! You will need the
Subscription number to login to the news archives
when the userID and password is changed. And,
you will need the Transaction number should you decide to cancel your automatic
monthly subscription.
At the top of each current news of the day is a link to the page on which the current password details are stored.
If you have a problem please contact us by EMAIL.
If you are in the USA, be aware that if you decide to subscribe by 900#, keep in mind that you are taking part in a transaction that involves your phone company. iBill cannot process refunds of transactions that take place through the 900# service. You need to handle that through your local phone company. Additionally, it is much more difficult to track down problems with 900# subscribers than it is with credit card subscribers. So if you have a choice, you may want to use the credit card service.
