Music, children, poetry , cake and dancing.

As the afternoon drew to a close and the skies darkened the band burst into life.. playing country music to a growing crowd. For the young it is never to early to start warming up the dance floor as demonstrated by the toddlers in the picture on the right.

The major attraction of the evening was the Birthday Raffle with the first prize being a world trip.

Pauline attracts kids like a magnet... as the pictures below demonstrate... but you wouldn't believe that if you read the trash that News Limited spit out day after day.

I captured a few faces that I had not seen before in the crowd now numbering several hundred people.

While dinner was being served the poets came out of the woodwork reading prose in praise of Pauline... to the applause of those gathered around...

After the raffle Pauline was presented with a gold necklace and cut a large birthday cake commemorating the event.

Later that evening the dance floor came to life as Paul Wilson (left below) and other singers sang late into the night...
