Between the One Nation lines
On Tuesday this week after being "locked out" of moderating functions for several days from the old One Nation discussion forum, I as the One Nation's Web Master, made the decision to look for other options. The old forum was part of a larger discussion board administered by Liberal member, David Moss.
The forum had proven to be very useful with a large number of comments and lengthy threads developing. There had, however, been problems. The first was a major crash for nearly two weeks during which all data was lost - including the 200 subscribers' details. For the entire period it was down I was unable to contact Mr Moss (who had gone on holiday) and had to field a large number of enquiries while not knowing what had happened myself.
I had started investigating options when the board suddenly, like magic, reappeared - I was left with the work of re-establishing the subscriber list after Moss confirmed that he "had no back-up of the files". It was at this stage that I was informed that the discussion board was being run from a computer at his home. Not a happy situation for a tool which would be extremely important for the party at the next Federal election.
A few weeks later, last Friday, the board went down again. Without explanation, and despite my sending email no answers were given as to what had happened. Again I had to field a number of enquiries - to which I had no response. When the board again magically reappeared I discovered that my moderator functions did not work. Despite sending email the response from Moss was less than sympathetic. On Tuesday he wrote, "Scott, I can use the admin features from here. The democrat moderator seems to be OK too. Perhaps you have some old pages cached, try pressing the reload button."
But still I could not access the One Nation moderator functions. It was time to put plan "B" into action. I contacted Powerup (the One Nation host ISP) and requested the use of their WebBoard - a service which would be more reliable and provided additional features not available on the "old discussion forum".
The new forum was set up while I still had no access to the old board and by the time Moss came back to me on the Wednesday at 10.25am with the following short explanation on why I had been "locked out", it was too late: "Try it again now Scott, I just made a couple of changes." No apologies, no explanations. That was it. Indeed it appeared that I could gain access - but for about two minutes... apparently Moss then saw my post posted the night before, on aus.politics on Tuesday night at 6.46pm where I said:
Firstly, we wish to thank David Moss for his assistance in allowing us to use his moderated discussion forum in the past.
We have now moved this service to a new upgraded facility which will allow you to enjoy the following new features:
- Real time chat.
- Private and public discussion forums with One Nation MPs and candidates.
- Searchable (text) option on all posts.
- Make file attachments to posts.
- Spell check (one I will find useful <g>)
amongst many other advanced features.
The URL and information on gaining access to this new upgraded forum is at:
http://www.gwb.com.au/onenation/forum.html
Allow 24 hours for registration.
Please note that the old forum, as of this email, will no longer be supported by One Nation.

The next thing I knew was I had been cut off from moderating my own One Nation forum and could not even make posts to comments that Moss made subsequently on the old board accusing me of: "Hopefully they will (venture out of their carefully controlled private world to meet the real public here), and prove that One Nation is a party of the people. If they simply hide in the cosseted world of a One Nation Only forum at least we will know the truth by their absence."
For the record, all but one of over 100 applicants to the new board have been given unrestricted access - and they are not all One Nation members. The one excluded was excluded from the old board as he is a known trouble maker on aus.politics. For some inexplicable, non-sensicle reasoning Moss feels that the board that I operated on his "old forum" with great success and with support from him suddenly becomes a dark and closeted affair because I took the option to provide subscribers with a superior facility - away from his control.
We now have a more secure board, one that we cannot be locked out of and one that offers superior facilities, such as:
Comments by Grame Thompson on the One Nation forum's first chat session (held yesterday afternoon):
The One Nation Discussion and Conference group has gotton off to a flying start with over 15 people registering at the new site in just 2 days.
Already the messages are being posted and some good, interesting, and debatable comments have been said by all.
Yesterday was also the first major use of the new Chat Room. There I was just fiddling around with settings and seeing what it could do when lo and behold someone else jumped into the room. "Hello" said I, "hello" said they instantly back to me and we started to chat about ON stuff when I discovered they were an active branch member from Mitchell Electorate in NSW (near Dural).
Just as we were beginning to talk about Pauline, David Oldfield etc, Max from Lismore jumped in and we had a three-way chat in progress. Well before you knew it there were all these people from all over the country, Dural NSW, Lismore NSW, Sydney and Victoria Chatting away to each other and the group with instant display of all messages! Even Scott popped in for a few minutes to say hello!
Well let me just be the first to congratulate Scott on a very good choice of conference and chat site! It is straightforward, simple to use and is quite nice. The best thing about the chat is that you can have it as a popup window and still browse through messages, surf other sites, or just have it in the background while doing your normal work.
I hope to see more people in chatting away next time I visit and look forward to animated conversations in real time. Beats email hands down!
(The new forum now has over 100 participants - over 50 posts have been made in the last 48 hours).
Tonight I will be meeting with Pauline Hanson to discuss issues raised on the new forum.
MD
Here is an extract from Pauline Hanson's press conference speech yesterday:
Inequity of Tax
One of the fundamental problems for Australian taxpayers is the inequity in who contributes.
This is particularly evident in the case of multinationals and major corporations, most of whom do not pay their fair share of tax.
This obvious and glaring lack of fairness has not been addressed in the Government's GST tax package. For 1998/99, total tax revenue is estimated at $138 billion; Australians will pay the bulk of that, and foreign owned companies and multinationals will contribute little or nothing.
This was revealed and confirmed by a statement from Mr Jim Killaly, Assistant Commissioner of the Taxation Office on 28 October 1996: "The figures show most multinationals pay little or no tax."
What was quite extraordinary is that despite wide coverage of the GST on the television news last night very little was said about Mrs Hanson's comments - except for, wait for it, SBS!
Politically Correct SBS actually made history last night by covering Pauline Hanson in a faintly positive light by including part of the extract above in their news above. I, for one, could not believe it!
The One Nation tax package will be released soon. (After the Coalition announce the date of the next Federal election).
Pauline Hanson on the Today programme on the GST this morning: "Where we are going to target is the multinationals who do not pay their fair share of tax in this country and that is what Killaly, Assistant Commissioner of the Taxation, said in 1996.
We've got people who come over to this country, rip it off by taking over existing successful Australian businesses. They do not pay their tax here and it has always come back to the PAYE taxpayer who foots the bill every time."
The "chooks" are coming home to roost and the Laboral Party and their big business mates likes it not.
From Peter Cook: GST Press Conference
At 11.50am yesterday Pauline Hanson arrived at the Illawarra Tennis Club in Rockdale to give a short press release and answer questions on her response to the Howard/Fischer GST Package. As usual, Pauline was well prepared and her speech was delivered clearly: No GST, Replace the tax act.
The media pack was (mostly) well behaved. There was one reporter (which in the interests of avoiding a defamation suit I will not name or say which media organisation he was from) who tried to side-track Pauline into saying something contradictory but she recognised what was going on and then turned her speech around in time!
The details of her speech have probably been summed up already so I won't go too far into detail on that, but suffice it to say overall the event was a success, even though the only channel I have seen give it a mention was 7.
Meanwhile John Howard is currently facing the following attacks on his GST:
Pauline Hanson's One Nation | Press Conference yesterday highlights inequities of the GST proposal. |
Asian Crisis | Senior independent economists argue that the Asian crisis does not justify the Government's assumptions about the size of the Budget surplus two years from now, when the tax cuts are scheduled to begin. |
Rents | Despite Mr Howard saying that rents won't rise because they will not attract a GST. Rents will be input taxed - where the costs paid by landlords, such as maintenance agents fees and body corporate fees, will be subject to a GST - and will rise as a result. |
Income Groups | ACOSS (Australian Council of Social Security) calls the plan "unsustainable,
unbalanced, unfair and unacceptable". It points out that the Treasury
assumption the GST will affect every group in the community equally
is flawed. It says low-income groups spending disproportionately
more on food, dispelling the government's assumption rich and poor spend
the same proportion of disposable income on food and clothing.
It also says the Government's tax cuts deliver the greatest benefits to those on incomes of greater than Au$50,000 a year and that the Government's assumptions about inflation and its subsequent calculations are wrong. |
Churches | Church groups seek to have food exempted. The Uniting and Anglican Churches indicated they are likely to support ACOSS's anti-GST stance while the Catholic Church yesterday labeled the GST as regressive and unfair. |
Nursing Homes | After criticism from pensioner and nursing home groups, the Government is forced to fine tune its tax reform package to ensure increasing its nursing home fees will not swallow up the promised 4% pension boost. |
Democrats | The Democrats announce they will not support the tax reform package in its current form, saying it's unfair. The Democrat vote in the Senate is crucial for passing of the tax reform legislation. |
Charities | Charities say they expect the cost of delivering community services to increase despite being GST-exempt because ventures used to subsidise their activities would be taxed to prevent unfair advantage against commercial business. |
Councils | Local Councils are seeking further GST concessions after a Government backdown delivered more exemptions for charges other than general rates, water and sewerage charges. |
Polls | Opinion polls have found that while people support tax reform, they don't believe they'll be better off under a GST-based system. |
De-Anne Kelly has joined Pauline Hanson and the Democrats in calling for the Constitution's divisive "race powers" to be changed.
Hanson first raised the issue in a much maligned statement in July this year. Here is an extract:
The main point of the 1967 referendum was the change of section 51 of the constitution that allowed the government to make special laws with respect to Aborigines. It is from this that successive governments have created race based policies such as Abstudy and 1.5% loans for Aboriginals starting businesses.
Aboriginal Australians like all Australians should and do have the right to vote but no one should be treated differently on the basis of race - all Australians should be treated equally and the same. I am quite certain that if Australians had understood where the 1967 referendum would lead, many would have voted differently.
These special laws based on race have led to reverse discrimination and the rorting of taxpayers money without helping the Aborigines in most need. We must assist Aborigines, but as Australians in need, not on the basis of race. We must not make laws that set Australians apart and are open to abuse by those who pretend to look after the Aboriginal people.
It is often reported that I want to take benefits from Aboriginal people, that is not correct and never was correct. It is true many Aboriginal people are seriously disadvantaged but they do not have a monopoly on being disadvantaged and should not be singled out on the basis of race. Everyone should be assisted on the basis of need.
Kelly , the National party's Federal Member for the North Queensland seat of Dawson, plans to introduce a Private Members Bill which would call for the deletion of Section 51 (26) of the Constitution.
In the Bill she would call for the change to read: "The Parliament shall not make any laws which discriminate between persons on the ground of race."
For her efforts she has now been called the promoter of "Ku Klux Klan politics" by indigenous leaders who bask in the tax payer funded lifestyle provided by the race-based Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Commission. ATSIC's social justice commissioner Terry O'Shane said, "This is Ku Klux Klan stuff. She needs to take a good hard look at herself because she's elected to serve everyone in her community."
So who does ATSIC exclusively serve Terry? And the answer much of the time is not the Aborigines who need it the most.
Kelly in backing One Nation's earlier policy proposal said, "Surely we are all one Australia? We're coming up in a new century and particularly with the Olympics this would show how united we are as a country."
One Nation spokesman backed Kelly's comments saying that she was guilty of "outright policy theft". "It's almost as if De-Anne Kelly is doing her apprenticeship for One Nation," Oldfield said.
Spot on David - I reckon De-Ann e would make a good candidate for the people's party. When is she changing ship from the sinking one?
Subject: Submission
I have finished (I think). How many addresses do you have? I think that it should be released when Howard announces an election. I would also like Pauline to be aware of what we plan.here is a copy.
SUBMISSION TO THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF QUEENSLAND
REGARDING THE
Consolidation of the Queensland Constitution
Interim Report
I, John R Hugo, submit to the Legislative Assembly of Queensland that ALL the Constitutions of Australia and its states, historically and according to Internationally Law, became Null and Void with the declaration of the sovereignty of Australia by the government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain (1917) and the League of Nations (1920).
As support to my submission, I submit the following historical facts.
In the beginning the colony of N.S.W. was divided into other states to facilitate their governance. Each new state was given its own constitution. After much discussion between the states, UK Government passed a Bill called "The Constitution of the Commonwealth of Australia (1900) UK" which was designed to federalize the colonies. I have noted that there is no reference to the rights of the colonists but only the rights of the parliaments. This was because the colonists were British Subjects. As such they had the rights of all British Subjects including the Magna Carter, The Bill of Rights 1689 and the Act of Settlement 1701.
Because we were a colony, King George V declared war on Germany in 1914 on our behalf.
Towards the end of the World War 1 and in the next three years the following events took place:
1. The British Dominion of the Commonwealth of Australia as a member of the British Empire contingent joins the peace conference at Versailles on 13th January 1919 with W. M. Hughes and Sir Joseph Cook as its representatives.
2. Supported by the agreement reached at the 1917 Imperial War Conference held in London and argument between the President of the United States, W. Wilson, W. Hughes and Sir Joseph Cook sign the Peace Treaty of Versailles on 28th June 1919 not in the name of the British Dominion of the Commonwealth of Australia but in the name of the nation of Australia.
3. Prime Minister Hughes addresses Federal Parliament on 10 September 1919 "Australia has now entered into a family of nations on a footing of equality. Australia has been born in a blood sacrifice".
4. On 10th January 1920 the League of Nations becomes part of international law with Australia as one of the 29 foundation member nations, its sovereign nation status and political independence guaranteed under Article X of the League's Covenant. This is Australia's Independence Day. The British Dominion of the Commonwealth of Australia ceases to exist as does the authority of the British Crown. British Subjects resident in Australia become Australian Citizens.
5. Statement by Sir Geoffrey Butler KBE, MA and Fellow, Librarian and Lecturer in International Law and Diplomacy of Corpus Christi College, CAMBRIDGE, author of "A Handbook to the League of Nations" used as a reference to the League by all nations at that time. He refers to Article I of the Covenant of the League of Nations. "It is arguable that this article is the Covenant's most significant single measure. By it the British Dominions, namely, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, and Canada, have their independent nationhood established for the first time. There may be friction over small matters in giving effect to this internationally acknowledged fact, but the Dominions will always look to the League of Nations Covenant as their Declaration of Independence."
6. The League of Nations confirms Australia's mandated territories of Nauru and German New Guinea on 17th December 1920. The mandates are confirmed in the name of Australia.
The politicians of the Sovereign Nation of Australia then sent their representatives as follows : Sir Joseph Cook becomes the first Australian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom on 11th November 1921. The United Kingdom recognises the sovereignty of Australia by the acceptance of his credentials
G. F. Pearce represents Australia at the Washington conference from 12th November 1921 to 6th February 1922 resulting in the signing of the Washington Treaty, Australia's first treaty with another nation.
Meantime, back in Australia, our politicians failed to inform the people that the constitution of 1900 UK, was no longer valid. Our politicians had no authority from the people to govern them. The people had no rights because this question had and has never been , raised. The politicians, assisted by the legal fraternity of this nation, have continued to bluff and con the people with the notion that only they know what is best for us while hiding behind a foreign document and legalese hoohaa.
The British Government states and has provided documentation with regard to the legislative powers of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. No act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom or act that looks to the Parliament of the United Kingdom for its authority is valid in Australia or its territories in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom and the Charter of the United Nations. (Article 2 paragraphs 1 and 4).
When asked specifically about the validity of the following acts, the British Government referred to their previous reply as stated above.
(1) The Commonwealth of Australia Constitution Act
1900 UK
(2) The Westminster Act of 1931 UK
(3) All "State" constitutions
(4) The Australia Bill 1986 UK.
The Queen has been advised of the current situation by the British Government in a personal letter to her secretary - The Right Honourable Sir Robert Fellowes. It is anticipated all Letters Patent issued by the Queen from the beginning of her reign in 1953 and Letters Patent issued by King George V after 10th January 1920 will be rescinded to reflect Australia's independence as at that date in accordance with international law . To date this has not been done. Why? Is it because the Royal Family has extensive holdings and investments here eg. Rio Tinto?
The constitutional question was first raised in 1972 by Dr. Colin Howard a well known constitutional lawyer who held the Hearne Chair of Law at Melbourne University. He is currently Crown Counsel to the State of Victoria.
A different generation is again asking the same question addressed to the previous Federal Attorney General of the Labor Government and now to the new Federal Attorney General of the Liberal Government. The difference being that this generation has direct access to the United Nations General Assembly and will use this access if necessary!
QUESTION: As the above items are historically correct and can be demonstrated to be so, after the demise of British Legislation in Australia in accordance with both British and international law as at the 10th January 1920 what document(s) provide for the basis of law in Australia on and after this date?
The Federal Attorney General has answered that this matter is extremely complex and will require some time before he can provide an answer. In spite of a monthly reminder, the question remains unanswered. He has advised that should a legal challenge be raised using these historical facts, thus raising a constitutional question the magistrate or judge must be referred to section 78B (1) of the Judiciary Act 1903 so the matter can be referred back to the Federal Attorney General.
If necessary, impress upon the magistrate or judge the Judiciary Act 1903 is an act of the Parliament of Commonwealth of Australia and must be strictly applied. The Federal Attorney General states he is obliged to take action against those who disregard it. He is most anxious that this matter be contained without resort to an international solution via the United Nations General Assembly as the matter deals directly with an alleged breach of the United Nations Charter over which he has no control!
As our major parties will not act, we the people at the next Federal election must vote for some one who will and give the people ready access to referenda ie. Citizens Initiated Referenda and make very sure this crime of omission can never be repeated. In International Law they are criminals.

Subject: One Nation Tax Package
G'day Scott,
I just heard on the radio that ON is going to release its tax package today. Are you sticking it up on the web sometime today?
PS. The new forum seems like a good choice.Lot of potential.
Cheers!

Subject: Jewish Mafia
Dear Sir,
If the Jewish Mafia (Einfeld, Boucher, Moss, Leibler etc.) are not representative of mainstream Judaism, then we need to hear more opposition from the mainstream.
Decent Gentiles are rebelling against elected crooked and unrepresentative Government.
Decent Jewish people should be "up in arms" by the actions of the un-elected ruling elite who are proposing that we will live our lives only according to their rules.
We are dealing with extremely dangerous people here, but the more frightening aspect of this is the deafening silence from Liberal, National, Labor, Democrat, Green, Packer, Murdoch and so on.

Subject: Comments re the Protocols
I read the protocolssome years ago. Many highly regarded people around the world have branded it as fiction. But I`ve marvelled as most of the "plan" comes forth in our daily lives. Conspiracy within a conspiracy? We the conned etc.,etc.,etc. Thank the Good Lord for the internet, He watches over us.

The Protocol of the Elders of Zion is almost certainly an antisemitic forgery.

Subject: GST Nonsense
Dear Sir,
The purpose of the GST is to create MORE Government revenue.
If the Government is going to get MORE then we will be paying MORE.
Doesn't really require much discussion does it ?
A trifle simplistic ?
Perhaps !

Subject: ASSETS TEST
I have been a coalition voter all my life but mate from no on while there is a O/N party thats where my and my whole families votes are going, my beef is this someone in Sydney with a million dollar house can claim a pension but my father who has worked his backside of and is now 74 cannot get any pension because he owns a farm, the government wants him to sell his farm out from under his sons and then anyway he's straight away under the assets test, were is the justice in that ,and I tell you he aint the only one in this boat, and also the capital gains tax that is also discriminatory to the farmer again, people can buy houses in the cities and sell them for a profit but the battling bloody farmer gets hit with a CGT when he sells his land, ask these to Pauline and tell her that the bush will certainly get on the One Nation band wagon I can guarantee you that
