Unfortunately the same cannot be said for a certain Mick Dodson the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Commission's Social Justice Commissioner who has threatened to embarrass Australia in international forums in the past, and who's hidden agenda is the breakup of Australia into "indigenous" states - has been at it again.
Mick Dodson told a San Francisco conference on family law that Aboriginal children were sill being taken from their families.
International legal experts have reportedly been shocked by the evidence being presented over the past two days on "the stolen generation".
What they do not hear is any semblance of balance - especially as the issue relates to today's situation. Just a few days ago a correspondent covered first-hand the side of the "stolen children" which has tactfully been swept under the carpet by the "do gooders and the politically correct".
Everybody has the right to say what they think, but it is a bit rich when damage is caused to a country's reputation and that of mainstream tax payers who have funded the visit in the first place. The only surprise I have is that Ms Hanson was not, somehow, blamed for the stolen generation.
The woman who's house was broken into by Channel 9 staff on assignment a few weeks ago has been paid Au$50,000 by the television station after negotiations with her lawyers.
Channel Nine's Queensland chief executive, Ian Muller, who personally investigated allegations of trespass by senior producer Chris Ellis and journalist Neil Doorley refused to comment on the settlement - for legal reasons.
Nice guys these current affairs people... anything to get a story .
Sir Arvi Parbo, the chairman of mining giant Western Mining said yesterday that cutting immigration would endanger economic growth and threaten Australia's ability to continue as an "independent nation".
"Australia is approaching some warning signs, the community will start ageing rapidly after the turn of the century and if there were no net overseas migration the population would start declining," he said.
"In a world where over-population in less well off regions is the most serious issue, a declining population will also put at risk our very ability to continue as an independent nation."
A spokesman for John Howard said, "The government's position is that the 10-point plan is the most appropriate response. Its principles remain non-negotiable."
Beazley's only comment was that the meeting was "useful and civil".
I am sorry that A Tang has suffered insults because of his race. Racism at heart is simply bad manners and lack of breeding.
But he is wrong to blame Pauline Hanson. He would do well to read her speeches himself with an open mind, rather than rely upon the media distorted versions of what she says. How can the following sentiments be considered racist?
"We welcome anyone who comes here with a genuine wish to better themselves, to be law abiding citizens, and to give their undivided loyalty to this country. We want everyone to be Australians, and to join us by being apart of One Nation, not one of many parts of a divided nation." (Speech at Newcastle)
As she says, no migrants have to forget where they come from, but they should remember where they are now. And join in!

Subject: Pauline Hanson and 60 Minutes
I agree don't ever let 60 minutes interview pauline again, this only confirms the involvement of certain wealthy people in this country in assisting certain politicians in harming Pauline Hanson.

Subject: The mythical 'cash economy'
Mr. Costello, what about the 'black' economy whereby your government allows multinational corporations to take an estimated $200 billion in profits out of this country annually virtually tax-free, (Austand Assoc. discovery), while home companies like BHP have to move offshore in order to survive? What about the fact that you and your fellow politicians accumulate multi-million dollar super. payouts while you do it?
The 'black' economy is another 'red' herring, Mr. Treasurer, to give the media something to crap on about while public attention is distracted from what's really happening to this country with your help. You and your government know very well where the real tax-avoidance occurs.

Subject: Dear Pauline! I'll support if you change your plan! I'm a Asian representative
Your party is planning to remove migrants, especially from Asian countries. Could you tell me about detailed information? I assume Australian industry and economy will be declined dramatically. Is it very sure that all Asians will be kicked out if Pauline becomes prime minister? However, I reckon the issue is bloody difficult because Australian government has been assisted by Asian countries, especially, Japan - one of the biggest customers for export. In addition, majority of Australian people who have ever stayed in Japan said that people are very nice over there and these people treat them nice.
Does that mean that you will still remove Asian people even those Aussies receive good treatment in Japan. However, this exists a difficult problem in front of you. First, you have to remove the Japanese motor plant in SA even though Aussie proposed Toyota to build it.
Second, there are several number of Chinatowns in Australia, especially, Sydney chinatown - one of the biggest chinatown in which Aussie gov't earns lots of wealth by tax. If you plan to remove Asians, just do it. However I consider, in order for Australia to be wealthy and peaceful in the future I strongly recommend you to reform a concept at which your party is trying to do.
Third, technology in Australia is much lower than in Japan. In other words, you're considering to stuck in the low tech country for long years unless you rely on NZ, America or Great Britain.
Lastly, there are a lot of Australians whose spouses are Asians. In order to prevent to get blames from these Australians, you must consider the problem.
I wish you'll consider with seriousness so as to get more supporters for your party.
Thank you.

First picture of the new jetty on the Brisbane River - taken at low tide yesterday.
At high tide the river rises to the red line just over the bottom of the steps.
The new riverside global office is to be located in the rough location of the yellow lines. What I cannot show you is the Enya music that plays through the trees and tipples across the river... ah yes, little need to ask why I call home paradise.
