[MURDER BY MEDIA, DEATH OF DEMOCRACY
IN AUSTRALIA]
One Nation looks like getting two upper house seats in NSW (David Oldfield - on right in picture - and Brian Burston). It has also polled well in many lower house seats, with several results around 20%. In the seat of Barwon, the One Nation candidate is polling over 22%.
The Democrats, Greens, Unity party polled nowhere!
The media even try to turn this great result into an anti-One Nation story! (see below)
Even Oldfield's critics would have to admire his modesty in victory: "This is Pauline Hanson's One Nation; she's acknowledged that one time in the future it will be just One Nation but it will never be David Oldfield's One Nation."
One Nation New South Wales upper house candidate David Oldfield said he would not offer party founder Pauline Hanson a job if he was elected to the upper house.
Mr Oldfield appeared likely to win a seat in the NSW parliament, after the party received a strong primary vote across the state.
Asked on Saturday night if he would offer Ms Hanson a job, he said: "Pauline lives in Queensland; she's very happy there on her farm," he told reporters.
"I'm sure that's where she'll stay until the next federal election when I believe there'll also be a role for Pauline in Queensland."
But when asked whether he needed her, he said: "There's been a lot of nasty things said about my supposed ambition relating to Pauline.
"I'm extremely loyal to Pauline. I'm not stupid enough to just think that this is David Oldfield taking a big plunge.
"This is Pauline Hanson's One Nation; she's acknowledged that one time in the future it will be just One Nation but it will never be David Oldfield's One Nation."
The election "sends a message firstly to the major parties that we cannot be written off at any stage", he said. He indicated he had been the only person who ran One Nation's campaign, while criticising its coverage by the media.
"All of that being done when I was the only one that actually knew what we were doing ... I was the only person that knew what our strategy was in the campaign ... I was the only person who knew what our advertising revenue was, how we were going to construct our policies and how we would solve the whole thing," he said.
The New South Wales election shows one thing above all others.
The traditional two party vote is fracturing - the high percentage of votes received by a number of independents in a number of seats reflects voter disenchantment with the major parties (or the Packer/Murdoch stooges).
It is time for Australians to look carefully at how this disenchantment can be harnessed and focussed.
One Nation was the catalyst that brought the issues to the surface through the guts and straight talking of the politically incorrect Pauline Hanson. The role of Australia First's Graeme Campbell who gave the Labor party the flick has also got to be recognised. One Nation, because of its success, has been the natural target of the evil media empires that try to run this land. The lackeys who work for these power-hungry families have prostituted themselves in a futile effort to gain recognition in an environment where their career is dictated by the compliance of their last written word to the ambition of their masters.
It is time for the splinter groups and parties to work together, while retaining their autonomy. It is time to destroy the power base of the evil empires. It is time to look beyond the media, to use the Internet, to get into the issues... that drive the growing number of people away from the big business dominated political parties.
We can only succeed by being focussed and working together... whether the party be One Nation, Australia First, Australians Against Further Immigration, an Independent or other.... the common focus must be the issues. Just like Labor and the Coalition exchange preferences on the bidding of their big business financiers the splinter parties and One Nation need to re-align and work together.
I am working on another book called "One Voice, Many issues". The book will, like the "Australian Daily Issues Page" reflect nearly twenty key issues like political correctness and globalisation in lay man's language. It will include solutions.
I intend to make it a handbook for like-thinking parties. My own loyalties will, of course, remain with One Nation but I would encourage all the like-thinking minor parties to participate while retaining your own identity.
We have a common enemy - and it is not each other - it is issues like globalisation and economic rationalism. Together we can break the evil grid lock that big business' two party system has over this nation.
The New South Wales election results have proven this.

Common currency painted as alternative to U.S. greenback
Tim Naumetz The Ottawa Citizen
Canada may be forced to adopt the U.S. dollar as its own currency unless a common currency for the Americas can be established along the lines of what Europe has done, a leading economics professor said yesterday.
Another expert, economics professor and former Reform party MP Herb Grubel, told a Senate inquiry such a common currency would eventually increase wealth and improve the Canadian standard of living.
However, in the first parliamentary inquiry of its kind about the future of the Canadian dollar, former Bank of Canada governor John Crow and two other prominent economists argued against the notion of joining the United States in a monetary union.
"The existing order is breaking down at a very rapid rate, and the main uncertainty is whether mankind can exert a positive role in shaping a new world order or is doomed to await collapse in a passive posture. We believe a new order will be born no later than early in the next century and that the death throes of the old and the birth pangs of the new will be a testing time for the human species." -- Richard A. Falk, in an article entitled "Toward a New World Order: Modest Methods and Drastic Visions," in the book "On the Creation of a Just World Order" (1975)
Just as the express package industry finally brought competition to the US Postal Service and the heavily subsidized government agency responded and improved noticeably - NORFED brings competition to America's most basic monetary unit, its currency.
You have probably heard these words used often in recent years, perhaps beginning with President George Bush in 1990. But what do they mean? Who has been using this expression? When and where did this idea of a new world order originate? How will this new world order be implemented? More importantly, how will this new world order affect you?
If you want to know the answers to these questions, this is the place to find information and the documents that demonstrate every point. We believe that you will find no better source on this topic anywhere.
The newspaper headlines carry statements like "Serbia's deadly revenge"... why do they not cover what the Serbian citizen's under the line of fire say?
Will the world ever be the same again after this? If NATO can attack a sovereign nation which has not attacked another is this not a clear breach of the line in the sand?
Which country will be next and why?
BELGRADE, Mar. 26 - While the Clinton administration and NATO officials continue to claim that they are not waging war on Serbia, their missiles and planes have hit dozens of hospitals, schools and priceless ancient monasteries, our sources in Serbia report. Last night, for example, hospitals in Nis and Leskovac were hit. One of our sources reported that, "there is hardly a house or a building left in Leskovac (a southern Serbia town) that has not sustained some sort of damage."
The Yugoslav foreign minister, Mr. Z. Jovanovic, said today that "dozens of civilians" were killed in last night's NATO raids, and "hundreds" injured.
Our sources reported that two NATO jets were jets downed over Fruska Gora, and one over Kosovo between Pristina and Podujevo, a claim which NATO denies.
This evening, NATO planes have hit between 10 and 15 targets in and around Belgrade, including the ICN Galenika site in Zemun, a pharmaceuticals factory. "The night has turned into broad daylight," one Belgrade resident told CNN, describing the massive fires which tonight's raids have caused. As a result, Serbian authorities have now issued a chemical and biological alert, appealing to residents to wear gas masks.
In Pristina, the capital of Kosovo, NATO bombs this evening completely destroyed a school and a marketplace in the center of town.
So stand by for new "Serb massacres" to be announced soon by the Washignton lie manufacturing factory so as to cover up their own crimes against humanity.
The Yugoslav Army sources also claim that they had discovered and disabled some of the aerial guidance devices, presumably planted by OSCE mission "observers" in Kosovo. The OSCE monitors had left Kosovo prior to the NATO bombing, The army spokesperson has shown on local TV some of the radio locators they had discovered.
So much for the "neutrality" of "civilian" monitors and their chief, the American ambassador, William Walker, the "butcher of El Salvador," as one of our Serb sources referred to him. (For more on Walker's track record, check out our column, "Washington's Crisis Factory," from the March issue of the New Dawn - available at our Web site).
"Urban residential area of Belgrade is just being hit by the NORTH ATLANTIC TERRORIST ORGANIZATION," read the first line of an emotional e-mail message which we've just received from a Belgrade resident. "Big fires raising up are clearly visible against the night sky! I live in Sumice and I can see Banjica burning! Bastards have saved residential area of BELGRADE for last to set an example! "
"We knew this was going to be toughest night of the air strikes and DIRTIEST! Personally counted over 50 strong detonations. Cruise missiles mostly. Their paths were clearly visible in the dark. Apart from hits on vacant military barracks, a number of civilian buildings are being hit.
CHEMICAL ALERT HAS JUST BEEN GIVEN! Chemical Industries Galenika, Grmec in Novi Beograd, Zarkovo and Prva Iskra, Baric - are being hit according to first reports - CHEMICAL LEAK HAZARD - POSSIBLE CATASTROPHE ON THE WAY! DIRECTION OF WIND CRUCIAL! Just learned this could be due to ROCKET FUEL DEPO in Sremcica set ablaze! Instructions given to population to take precautionary measures against chemical accident. A lot of people in different parts of town - including myself - have started to feel sore-itchy throat already. Windows are closed and wet towels are at hand!
Areas most seriously hit according to Belgrade Civil Defence HQ: GALENIKA, NOVI BEOGRAD, BANJICA, SREMCICA, RESNIK, LIPOVICA, ZUZE, BUBANJ POTOK, AVALA, BATAJNICA (again and again!), ZARKOVO, JAKOVO
THIS IS NOT MILOSHEVIC'S SERBIAN MEDIA PROPAGANDA - THIS IS FOR REAL!
Wish us luck!"
And so ended the message... but not the death and destruction in the Serbian capital.
We tried today to organize a demonstration in Paris, in front of Quai d'Orsay, the French Foreign Ministry. We planned it for noon today (Thursday). But, soon enough, we received word via the TV that the French government had banned such a demonstration.
Still, those of us who have been demonstrating since 1991, and know each other by sight, came anyway, despite the ban. I would say, there were about 200 of us. Since that was such a small number, we didn't even bother to demonstrate. Nevertheless, the police arrested us, and threw us into three buses.
We were taken to a police building in the 14th district, where we were interrogate. The whole ordeal lasted about three hours. And we spent most of that time in a police van, jammed in like sardines.
I have to note at this point that there were many Frenchmen among us, who came to give the Serbs their spontaneous support. All of them were SHOCKED by the fact that we were all arrested,
In the end, a French academic also showed up at the police HQ to give us his support.
Later, he watched an election rally by the Muslim-oriented United Development Party fill the centre of Ambon city. Leaflets went around that churches would be burnt after the rally.
Christians rushed home to ready for the attack. Muslims, seeing the Christians fleeing, thought they better go back to their neigbourhoods to defend themselves too. It ended in stone-throwing, which was quelled by the armed forces.
Scott,
By my calcs on the seats we got 7.5% of the votes using all seats.
If we exclude seats with no candidate (assume same as rest) = 8%
One person in the Upper House - congratulations David Oldfield.
Good to see 4 or 5 independents in
Good to see Chika struggling (probably just in)
Regards,
Ken
With reference to @notd on 27th March, I perceive that David Miller does not seem too sure whether he supports Hitler's form of Nationalism. David says, "I don't think my personal views are totally in accord with Hitler's Nationalism but I see common ground."
Hitler was no ordinary nationalist. He was responsible for the death of millions in concentration camps. As with all dictators, he had complete contempt for democracy. He broke the Munich Pact when Nazis marched into Czechoslovakia. He broke the German-Soviet Nonaggression Pact when the Nazis launched Operation Barbarossa against the USSR. He was more than a Nationalist, but rather, an imperialist. Hitler planned for a perfect race. Anyone not fitting his bill was to face the prospect of death. If it was not the Jews, it was the Gypsies or homosexuals. Historians constantly remind us of the many Jews killed by the Nazis, but few people are aware that as many as half a million Gypsies faced that same fate. Who would have Hitler exterminated next? Those who did not have blue eyes? Men who were less than five feet tall?
Yes, it is true that our mainstream media over represents Hitler's sins when juxtaposed with Stalin, other dictators and even the Allie's indiscriminate killing of civilians in Dresden. However, I cannot understand anyone wanting to flirt with Nazi politics.

Subject: Are 'Gays' normal?
>My name is Peter
My name is Jimbo.
>I am a very strong supporter of One Nation.
So am I: does that entitle you to dictate policy formulated with the majority approval of ONP members and supporters? Or are you(rightly) under the impression that ONP is now a _major_ force in mainstream politics, makes and breaks(state _and_ federal) governments, dictates policy and may well be _running_ this country before too many years have passed; and, hence, framing/repealing new/current legislation. In which case, you are trying yr best to influence their policies to suit yr-self?! If so: at least your are a realist!
>I believe that ON stands for "real" equal rights
for all
>Australians.....not special rights for *any* minority
>groups.....including the minority group that I am forced
>into.....Gays!
'Forced'? Nobody 'forces' anybody to become 'gay'[hereinafter called homosexual(s)]. It's a _chosen behaviour_.
>I am dissapointed to read the attached letter in
which Bill
>describes homosexuals as "anti-life" and "perverted". Being gay is
Almost every civilisation since the year _dot_ has deemed homosexuality to be 'perverted' and 'un-natural'. It is also deemed to be a major destabilising influence in society(especially when it is blatant, open and has official 'sanction'/'acceptance) because it undermines the sanctity of the family unit: the very basis of stable civilisations.
>not a choice!! it seems as though people just refuse
this is a
>fact.....the only way it can be by choice is if you are bi-
>sexual....or if you are just trying to make your life a hell of a
>lot harder to live.
Homosexuality is now and always has been a choice. There is not a _skerrick_ of hard scientific evidence to substantiate the claim that homosexuals are 'born, not made' *Recommended reading:'Homosexuality and the Politics of Truth' by Jeffrey Satinover, M.D.
>I am gay and would do anything to be streight!! It is how I am born
The easy answer is: stop being a homosexual. Stop associating with homosexuals. Stop thinking about homosexuality. ("As a man thinks in his heart, so he is"....sow a thought: reap an act, sow an act:reap a habit, sow a habit: reap a character). Stop reading homosexual literature and magazines. Stop visiting homosexual Web Sites/News Groups. Start associating with members of the opposite sex. If that doesn't work: _pray_.
>and there is nothing that I can do to chainge that!
If there was, I

There's plenty you can do about it....see above.
>"outcast" or live their life under a disguise of

>not. I hate being gay, but have to live with it.
Then don't: all you've got to do is say:'No!'.
>What do you think a young boy or girl would be
thinking of themselfs
>when they first start to realise that their gay or lesbian?? I can
Schoolkids wouldn't even be thinking these things to start with if they didn't have to compulsorily attend 'sex education' classes that re-inforced the idea of 'homosexuality is Ok' and a 'legitimate lifestyle choice'[like kite flying!]. Neither would they be thinking these things if there wasn't a pro-homosexual media, a pro-homosexual mainstream 'church', pro-homosexual courts and pro-homosexual politicians.
>tell you first hand that it is a horrible
realisation....I spent the
>last few years of high school contemplating suicide just about every
>day.
Hmmmm....just like you would have contemplated suicide if you found you had an irrestible urge to become a serial killer? The logical thing to do would seem to be decide if yr actions are _right_ or _wrong_ and act accordingly. If they are _wrong_, then _stop_ doing them.
>At school and in the general society you are tought
that gays are
>perverts and not "normal"...twisted people.
Really? We must be living in different societies and must have attended different schools/universities. My impression was that these institutions condoned, even sanctioned, it.
>How do you think this effects a child that has
no controle over
>his/her sexuality?
'sexuality' ain't a choice. You're either _male_ or _female_: just the way u appeared in this world and just the way yr gunna leave it. Sexual activity, however, _is_ a choice. The wrong choice can be dangerous: for yourself and other people in society generally. The AIDS statistics back this up. Thus you can't 'do what you like as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else'[the standard post-modernist claptrap]. Reason: _almost everything_ you do effects someone else...
>Educating young people at school that gays and
lesbions are not to
>be abused is not "promoting" or "recruiting" people to be gay....it
>is about trying to stop children from being abused and even beaten-
>up for being who they are.
Baloney! No education system in living memory in this
country has sanctioned the 'beating up' of homosexuals. If they did, or had
to have done, they could have been charged with committing a criminal act:
incitement to violence. The current nonsense thatz _force-fed_ to schoolkids
is all about:[a]giving homosexuality a richly undeserved moral legitimacy
and [b]overtly or covertly undermining the family unit by confusing and
obfusticating legitimate gender roles and diminishing male authority as head
of the household(the social pathologies[pint-sized gangsters, teenage Drug
Lords, fourteen-year old mass murderers and twelve-year old taxi-driver
killers]of the innumerable juvenile delinquents[mostly teenage boys] who
currently plague our society is the bitter and rotten fruit of such ludicrous
policies).
>Gays are just normal, everyday people that
just sleep with and love
>people of the same sex....that is the only differance between you
Serial killers are just normal, everyday people who go about their normal, everyday business of killing lots of people who they don't like........your definition of normal is abnormal
>and them.... the education recieved in school teaching
kids that
>gays dont need to be abused WILL save childrens lives.....that is a
>fact! and that is the bottom line!!
Bollocks! The education system teaches schoolkids that homosexuality is a _morally legitimate_ lifestyle.
>Please write back with any concerns or questions
you have about gay
>and lesbians and I will try my hardest to answer them.....Dont just
Well: you'll have to do a bit better than you have so far.....
>look at the madi grais and think that that is what
gays are....they
>are the extream.
I thought they were the 'norm'. The people backing them, supporting them and funding them represent quite a significant cross-section of the homosexual community. Can't say I've ever seen any of the so-called 'normal' homosexuals doing anything to oppose this glorification of perversion.
cheers!

Gays and schoolkids
To Peter who wrote about gays in yesterdays @notd I'd like to say that the criticisms against gays are directed to those extremists who want to promote their lifestyle as normal and trendy. You don't seem to be one of these extremists as you stated that you "hate being gay".
However I have seen several homosexuals who have been cured of this abnormality. I'm sure it was very difficult for them but they made it.
Admittedly there is a very tiny percentage of people who have a genuine genetic abnormality but for the majority of gays the reason is psychological. Research by a Dr J Bergman found that gays were "to some degree bisexual". Below is a summary of his findings if it's any help.
Evidence indicates that for most people the sexual drive exists in a diffuse state early in our lives. Hence childrens sexual development is highly influenced by early experiences in a process similar to imprinting. For this reason, a variety of experiences, many of which have little to do with the person himself or herself, can cause one to become a homosexual, depending on the degree that one's early diffuse sex drive is condiitioned toward persons of the same sex and away from persons of the opposite sex. He said that, "Conditioning.........explains quite well not only why many people are homosexuals, but it also explains the behaviour of those whose major erotic focus is on statues, young boys, corpses, or excretion."
Dr Bergman concluded that a person is not a prisoner to his or her sexuality and to a large degree chooses a homosexual lifestyle. He said, "to respond appropriately to homosexual behaviour the causes must be understood. The response to this behaviour would then vary according to the factors involved."
Bill Feldman was quite right to criticise the extremists who want teachers to promote homosexuality as a "normal" lifestyle to children. Young minds should not have conditioning about such abnormal lifestyles imposed on them. Perhaps schools should be teaching compassion for those with abnormalities and a desire to help these people overcome their pyschological problems.
Peter W
Homosexuals
I am writing to comment on Peter's letter (the gay One Nation supporter) from @notd, 27th March. Although Bill Feldman's comments made sense to me, I can see where Peter is coming from. Maybe One Nation could be a little more diplomatic when referring to homosexuals. However, I do not believe schools should teach these sorts of cultural values. As with most "politically correct" initiatives, the minority groups grievances are never alleviated. Institutionalizing these sorts of cultural controls is just as likely to produce a counter reaction from extremists while developing a minority victim mentality.
It is clear to me that the homosexual movement has gone much too far. Heterosexuals do not have sexuality marches Nationally televised. We do not wear taxpayer subsidized T-shirts with the heterosexual equivalent of "Poo Puncher" printed on them.
The "gay" movement has not stopped extremists from bashing homosexuals. Why would we expect "gay" education at school to make a change? In all probability, it would only spark further controversy. Some children speaking to their parents about their day's lesson would be given a second, but anti homosexual lesson at home.
It was only about a week or two ago, that I saw part of a program on the SBS focusing on homosexuals in WW2. By the sound of it, most of the men tolerated the homosexuals. There was no major problem with gay bashing or the like, and this was before the PC movement.
Finally, although I find the homosexual sexual act offensive, people enacting hatred towards homosexuals equally offends me.

Letters and the Courier-Mail fiasco
Every newspaper has a little message stating that the views stated here (letters) are not necessarily those of this newspaper. I cant find yours but I am sure it is there.
Perhaps the CM does not have this message any more, because it does not print any letter that are not the views of the paper. It censors all letters.
This explains why it tried to associate you and your Internet site with David's letter. The Courier Mail in effect were accusing you for not censoring the letters. You are supposed to do WHAT THEY DO.
What is inexplicable though is how come the Courier Mail did not censure you for not censoring the racist letter of do peng.
I can imagine how the COURIER MAIL editor is seething because there is a publication such as yours that will not prostitute itself and be controlled by a financial/political dictatorship masquerading as a democracy.
Phil Madsen
The truth should be heard
Hello, and my name is Michael.
I totally agree with your views, having lived in Australia from 1994-98, ie, watching you rise to national stauts, or rather, to the media's gleeful benefit (which is run by two lefties, Murdoch and Packer), an infamous status. Although you have many closet supporters, many have not stepped forward, especially in NSW where I used to reside, where filth such as the mardi gras and many immigrants promote their homeland's culture instead of supporting Australian values, the english language and everything about becoming Australian! This is disturbing, considering the fabian work which has been going on since the beginning of this century, trying to Globalise this world, in order to have total control over all and everyone. Even Howard is involved in this, not to mention Clinton and Blair, who are the main puppets to this new and last breath from the communists and socialists.....
Well, I hope I have given you hope to fight this, as there are many like me who see thise monstrosity arising.........

Reverse racism
One Nation, what a wonderful party.Pauline you have my full support for all of your plans on one nation.
My parents and I have live here in West Toowoomba for over Thirty Years and we have had many a different Aborginal neighbour.Only now they keep rocking our roof every night, throwing rubbish in our nice gardens and also throwing heavy, hard objects at my parents new car!..
We have the police in the street every night to quiten them down, only nothing is being done,We lodge a complanit with the Aborginal Housing and still nothing is being done. The police tell us until someone is hurt or some really bad damage to our nice, tidy home happens, they can't do anything.Fine, the Police are a wonderful team who do a really good job.But waiting for my Parents or I to receive injuries ?? ? ? ? ? ?Joke,joke,joke............
Only the Law is not equal and we,true white Australians are being left out ! Our home is neat and tidy with very nice Gardens, only now its really looking a mess with all the rubbish and junk being thrown over the high Colourbond wall we paid for and had put up for us by a qualified fencer, with a Council permit.
Do we have to live in fear of being taken away by the loads of Mice and Cockroaches that run wild in this Neighboud. We beleive that Whites and Blacks can be one, only these neighbours of ours do nothing to help this.
Can you please get us media coverage or something to get the ball rolling, keep on keeping on for the good of Australia,Kind regards to all of one nation
from ,Daniel.
and again
Hello all
Although I am currently not a member of One Nation, I would like to congratulate you all on your hard work in trying to make the country we live a better one. It seems that although we are not quite high in the polling ranks , the sum of us that do vote and vote properly have some what of growing strong opinion of the party and it's forming a good one.
I'm constanly told not to bother about trying to fix the problems in this country as I am one person and I tell them thats exactly right. It takes one person to get off their butt to do something and hundreds of followers to make it happen. I am actually writing to ask a few questions that I think need to raised.
Can't I do the same job ? Does the colour of my skin determine my intelligence or capability? These jobs have no teritary requirements, so why can't I sue them for discrimnation? I would be laughed at.
One or two notes to add, I was at the beach in summer and an Asian boy of about 8,9 or 10 came up to me and spat in my face and said something in another language ,I was horrified but then his father joined him and said " Goodboy". What type of message is that sending? I could do nothing but I'm sure it would be different the other way around.
I'm sorry but I have so many issues that I'm sure everyone does it just needs to be voiced just as your party is doing on behalf of myself and all like me.
Thankyou for your time
I would be curious if you could have those questions answered for me especially
the first one!
Yours Sincerly,
Amy
