[MURDER BY MEDIA, DEATH OF DEMOCRACY
IN AUSTRALIA]
Three men were arrested early yesterday (Wednesday) for stealing Liberal Party posters as more dirty tricks incidents emerged on both sides of politics in the final days of the campaign.
Police media confirmed three men were arrested and questioned after they were caught pulling down campaign posters from power poles along Canterbury Road at Bankstown.
No charges had been made against the men yesterday although inquiries were continuing.
Liberal Party frontbencher Barry O'Farrell claimed the men belonged to the Sydney University Labor Club and were "acting under instructions from the Labor Party."
But the Liberal Party, too, was condemned over a leaflet sent out to tenants in Kogarah.
The leaflet reads: "Your rent is rising up to $15 per week," attributing this figure to the NSW Council of Social Service.
Small print on the leaflet gives the authorisation as J. Flowers, 41 Butler Road, Hurstville, the same address as the Kogarah Liberal Candidate Sam Witheridge.
NCOSS director Gary Moore said yesterday he was "outraged," claiming the leaflet was a misinterpretation of information given to the Upper House inquiry.
We call it "Political Correctness." The name originated as something of a joke, literally in a comic strip, and we tend still to think of it as only half-serious. In fact, its deadly serious. It is the great disease of our century, the disease that has left tens of millions of people dead in Europe, in Russia, in China, indeed around the world. It is the disease of ideology. PC is not funny. PC is deadly serious.
If we look at it analytically, if we look at it historically, we quickly find out exactly what it is. Political Correctness is cultural Marxism. It is Marxism translated from economic into cultural terms. It is an effort that goes back not to the 1960s and the hippies and the peace movement, but back to World War I. If we compare the basic tenets of Political Correctness with classical Marxism the parallels are very obvious.
First of all, both are totalitarian ideologies. The totalitarian nature of Political Correctness is revealed nowhere more clearly than on college campuses, many of which at this point are small ivy covered North Koreas, where the student or faculty member who dares to cross any of the lines set up by the gender feminist or the homosexual-rights activists, or the local black or Hispanic group, or any of the other sainted "victims" groups that PC revolves around, quickly find themselves in judicial trouble. Within the small legal system of the college, they face formal charges some star-chamber proceeding and punishment. That is a little look into the future that Political Correctness intends for the nation as a whole.
MOSCOW, Mar. 24 - President Boris Yeltsin tonight suspended Russia's cooperation with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and recalled its chief military representative to the alliance to protest the air strikes against Yugoslavia, the Kremlin said. The decision came after military operations began, and several hours after Yeltsin made a televised appeal, in vain, against the use of force. Yeltsin, described in a statement as "deeply angered" by the bombing, also called for convening a session of the United Nations Security Council to stop the bombing.
Russia Calls for Immediate Cessation of NATO's Bombing at Emergency Session of UN Security Council
NEW YORK, Mar. 24 - Reading from prepared notes, Sergey Lavrov, the Russian Ambassador to the United Nations called today's NATO bombing an "illegal act of war" which contravenes not just all accepted international relations laws and principles, but also the UN Charter. He called for an immediate cessation of NATO's bombing of Serbia.
Quoting the Russian President, Boris Yeltsin, the ambassador said that, "if the conflict grows, Russia reserves the right to take 'adequate measures, including of a military character, to ensure its own and general European security'," Yeltsin added that, "Russia is deeply upset by NATO's military action against sovereign Yugoslavia, which is nothing more than open aggression."
Thousands of Russians Protest NATO Bombing in Front of American Embassy
MOSCOW, Mar. 24 - Thousands of Russians, including some political leaders, held a protest today demonstration in front of the American Embassy in Moscow. Many demanded military action by Russia if NATO continues its aggression against Serbia.
MOSCOW, Mar. 24 (Reuters) - Both U.S. President Bill Clinton and French President Jacques Chirac had telephoned Yeltsin before the bombing. After speaking to Clinton, Yeltsin addressed the nation, saying a decision to bomb Yugoslavia would jeopardize European security.
Prime Minister Yevgeny Primakov rang German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder on Wednesday evening to tell him the air strikes would damage Russia's relations with the West.
Communist Party leader Gennady Zyuganov told Reuters: "This is the darkest day of the post-war period. The United States is taking the same route as fascist Germany (under Adolf Hitler)."
Dear Sir,
Lyn and Matt said what ?
That we have "no compassion, no intelligence and no common sense"
What else did Lyn and Matt say ?
"That we "should be shot"
"Oh I get it now ... because we have no compassion, no intelligence and no common sense, we should be shot".
" I take it that Lynn and Matt mean we should be shot dead"
Well that sounds very compassionate, very intelligent and very common sensical to me.
Bravo Lynn and Matt !
Just where did you get those wonderful human qualities from ?

Biased Reporting
Scott,
In your previous newsletters you have mentioned a number of commercial organisations that are subverting the Australian democratic process by blacklisting or criticising ON activities (eg Jetset, Dyumocks, Qantas are names that come to mind).
Why not organise a list of these organisations on the ON website and in newsletters so that supporters can boycott their products. I for one would like to know which organisations are anti Hanson so that I can choose whether or not to support them inthe market place.
If such a list was publised it would send a shot over the bow of more than a few boardroom tables. Perhaps you could tell me the percentage of the vote that ON got in the last federal elecion.
Regards,
Joe
Subject:Death and 'the Death ad '
'Matt & Lyn' wrote in yesterday's(25/3/1998) @notd:
>You should be ashamed of yourselves.
Like-wise!
>The advertisement regarding the death penalty bill
for the NSW
>Elections is absolutely disgusting!
Really? If it was 'disgusting',then doubtless the ABA would have stopped it. Or: is 'disgusting' the new code word for 'political incorrectness'?
>Have you no regard for the parents and families
of murder victims,
>particularly those of young children?
_You_ obviously haven't. If you had, you would realise that what these parents want is _justice_. Just that. Not even 'revenge'. And justice _ain't_ served by having some psychopath spend either:[i]a dozen or so years in a 'cushy' country club (the average penalty for murder is fifteen years imprisonment) or[ii](even worse) a handful of years in some namby-pamby, fairy-floss 'mental hospital' because the poor sod was 'sick'(geezz: pity these head-shrinkers weren't so prominent in the late 40s. Then even the _Nazis_ could have dodged the noose by claiming they were 'sick')
>I doubt very much that they would want to see a
child being covered
>over by a body bag on their television sets every night,
What would you know? You ever lost a child to a raging psychopath?
>all for the sake of you 'people' getting a NSW seat.
that's right: qualify One Nation supporters as non-people. thatz the implicit implication here. Now we're beginning to see the 'true' face of 'political correctness'.
>That ad has utterly convinced me that your party
has no compassion,
>no intelligence and no common sense. I've never seen anything
>lower. Next time, think about the viewers and their feelings and
>try to think of a more INTELLIGENT way to get your message across.
Of course, intelligence is here 're-defined' to mean those who tow the 'politically correct' party line that all well-meaning and thoughtful people espouse! Bollocks!
>YOU should be shot, before you go and do something even dumber!!!
Well now: at least we now know what it's all about. Let's all lay our cards on the table here! So much for the vaunted 'tolerance', 'compassionate' and 'caring' features of the new mulicultural, multinational, globalist, politically correct society all managed perfectly by those with a Divine Right to rule....the 'intellectual elite'. I guess 'tolerance','compassion', 'caring' and other touchy-feely ideas only extend to yr own little group, yes? Any one who opposes yr viewpoints, or even questions them, is automatically a redneck, racist, homophobic sub-human...right? Of course, it's easy to kill yr opponents once you've demonised them....they're now sub-human(about on the level of feral animals or insects). Ho hum! It's as old as sin! The last great practitioners of it were the Nazis, followed closely by Old Joe Stalin and Manic Mao...with Pol Pot bringing up the rear. Like the Good Book says, there's nothing new under the sun!

It's a man's world
I always knew Japan was bloke territory, but I never knew it was THIS extreme.
'Nightline' ran a story on Viagra (24/3/99), juxtaposed with the birth control pill. Japanese women have been lobbying to have the pill introduced since the 1960's. Viagra was approved for use and sale within 3 months. The reasoning is, they regard impotence as an illness. Women wanting to prevent pregnancy are healthy. Therefore, they can afford to wait longer. To force women into a state of acceptance, they have spread propaganda about the 'evil' pill. Nasty side effects, diseases etc.. (Although I would have to agree to a certain degree - There are risks to taking the pill. Even links to cancer... But that is a story for another time.) The interesting part is, that the message has been accepted - About 93% of Japanese women will not take the pill because of it.
The absurd aspect is that they introduce a sexual stimulant, and black ban a contraceptive measure. No wonder abortions are rife. I bet condom manufacturers are laughing all the way to the bank.

I'm so sorry Pauline
Dear Pauline,
We are so very sorry for the crap that you have put the Australian Nation through as a whole.
As God fearing souls, the attitude that is relfected by you and your party members is one of bias and does not epitomise the Australian spirit as you would like us to believe, nor does it seem the way of the Lord.
Your One Nation Party would like to claim that the media has portrayed them in a negative light, but the media cannot portray an image that doesn't exist, therefore meaning you must have some negative issues to begin with, which is what you and your party members state do not exist.
Is there not a law concerning discrimination based upon race in Australia? We seem to recall that there is one, not just in theory, but in practice also.
Most Australians couldn't really care about the issues you have decided to take on, so it was a bit of a waste of time and the average taxpayers dollars.
Yours sincerely,
Jessica Lee
