THIS WEEK - LIVE FROM THE CONSTITUTIONAL CONVENTION by our correspondent Peter Mackay

International:

Pornography justified in the name of political correctness.

“Hi you have reached the Loud office, sorry we are closed today Monday February the 2nd. We will resume tomorrow. Please phone us back then. Don’t leave a message.”

The response when you phone LOUD today on (02) 9699 2444. Workplace of the federally funded long weekend.

Last night I spoke to a deeply distressed Pauline Hanson MP who had just been shown the doctored pornographic image of her on Loud's Internet web site by her political adviser David Oldfield. The distress and trauma that this proud and gutsy Australian has been put through, through the deliberate actions of the politically correct, attacks by the media and misrepresentation by minority groups is a story in itself.

Think of your most traumatic experience and then measure that up with just one of the hundreds of disturbing experiences that Ms Hanson has been put through in the last twenty months.

Let us remember that Pauline was just an ordinary Australian when elected to parliament, today she is no longer an ordinary Australian, she is a phenomenon, not because of her views, which are referred to as "populist" (or representing mainstream Australians), but because of that inner strength that she has.

The mainstream media have totally overlooked this fact - that she picks herself up off the floor time and time again, after being given a low blow that would have sunk a hundred Cheryl Kernot's. She is a lady on a mission and one day her mission will be correctly represented in print - a courageous voyage against the politically correct tide.

In this latest attack against her the revolting manufactured pornographic image would appear to be sanctioned by the government after a spokesman for the Senator Richard Alston's Department of Communication and the Arts dismissed it's placement on a web site as "artistic expression".

This is quite astounding because just ten days ago the Senator hammered pornography (January 19th 1998). Here is an extract from this statement: 'The Government has a clear duty, recognised by the Internet industry, to protect Australian children and other citizens from illegal material on the Net such as child pornography,' the Minister for Communications, the Information Economy and the Arts, Senator Richard Alston, said.

Yet here is the full transcript of the statement by his spokesman yesterday as quoted from today's Courier Mail article headed "Funding for (porno)graphic Web site defended" by Jeff Summerfield:

Quote:
'The Federal Government yesterday defended funding of the Internet site targeted at youth which contained manufactured pornographic images of independent MP Pauline Hanson.

'A spokesman for Communication Minister Senator Richard Alston said the Loud Festival was partly funded by the government "deliberately so as to allow Australian youth to express their views".

"We are not trying to censor their artistic expression," the spokesman said.

"If people believe this picture is offensive, and if this picture was published in a magazine and would require some 'M' or 'R' rating, then they should contact the Loud organisers and request it be classified by the Office of Film and Literature classification.

"Obviously the community has certain standards and those standards are expected to be upheld."

Senator Alston is saying we should protect our children from pornography yet ten days later a spokesman says that, in this case pornography and a clearly illegal image created in the name of "artistic expression" on a web site aimed at young children is okay.

Isn't it quite astounding that the justification for carrying pornography on a web site targeting youth is "artistic expression".
Isn't it quite astounding that the justification for besmirching the character of a Federal politician is "to allow Australian youth to express their views".

All this in the name of political correctness.

It might surprise our many readers that in Australia it is seen as quite acceptable now, even desirable, to hold an annual ABC televised Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras through the streets of Sydney - events which allow the misfits of society to come out and perform some pretty disgusting public acts; it is quite acceptable now to discriminate against a democratically elected political party by refusing it access to hold public meetings in city council owned buildings, or even excluding it from university campuses; it is quite acceptable to violently demonstrate at a democratically held public party meeting - with the sole aim of closing that meeting down; and now it is apparently quite acceptable to display a pornographic image of a democratically elected Federal Minister on a government web site.

But, by God, if you attack one of the roots of the politically correct movement by daring to question their stance, their role in our society or their unacceptable standards in mainstream Australia then you are vilified, tagged as racist or uninformed or just plain stupid.

And you know something they, the politically correct, are quite right. We are stupid. We mainstream Australians are stupid because over the years when we have gone home to our families and television sets night after night to play our traditional roles while determined representatives of these minority groups and misfits of society have been working in the backrooms in powerful committees and working together through the ranks of selected organisations. They now dominate committees like the Australian Council for the Arts (funding LOUD), our media, especially television programming, they order the slant on the type of show to be displayed, the manner in which the news (on SBS for example) is portrayed.

This tiny minority now dominate these powerful positions and here at home we play happy families and watch their selection on the television set quietly wondering why, today, every second show on ABC and SBS is now slanted towards gays and politically correct viewing. We wonder, but while we are wondering the slant is now pushed even further - we, the majority, are now the outcasts in the Australian society that they are creating. Our children watch programmes that justify "queer" behaviour - believing, mistakenly, that it is okay to be so - perhaps even tempting them to try it.

Such is their hold that there is no outcry when a pornographic image of a gutsy Australian representing mainstream Australia is plastered on the internet with the justification being "artistic expression". Make no mistake, this gutsy woman, Pauline Hanson, is being vilified by this evil assembly because she dared attack them - the divisive politically correct.

The issues of racism, stupidity and divisiveness are issues that the politically correct lobby have transformed into weapons of war against Ms Hanson. Their bigotry and double standards are exemplified when they try to justify pornography in these terms.

While we are being asked to say "Sorry" for things we have not done, actions we have not been responsible for the personal and ongoing attacks against a bastion of mainstream Australia go on unquestioned. And while Pauline is left alone at home to deal with the trauma I apologise to her, say "Sorry" that we have allowed our Australia to get away with treating her so.

The New World Order killing for greed.

Article from The WASHINGTON TIMES Sunday, February 1, 1998

Isn't it a shame that Australians have to put up with the trashy papers like News Limited's Sunday Mail in Queensland?

PROFITING FROM THE GAME OF NATION BUILDING By Bob Djurdjevic

This writer's Nov. 17, 1996 WASHINGTON TIMES column, "Demo Farce and the American Century," pointed out that the 1996 presidential election had all the earmarks of a one-horse race, as both presidential candidates (Bob Dole and Bill Clinton) raced for the same stable owner - Big Business. Now, there is some new evidence that the New World Order (NWO) clique are exporting their Demo Farce to several other countries around the world.

How many times have you heard the likes of Bill Clinton, George Bush and other Washington insiders justify the presence of our troops or non-governmental organisations in over 100 countries around the world on the basis that they want to export to these nations American values, such as freedom and democracy? This writer has lost count, but "ad nauseum" could be an adequate answer.

Words are cheap, however, and the average American voter's gullibility is great, thanks to constant brainwashing by the establishment media. It's only occasionally, such as in the case of Somalia, that tragic events show Americans how our government is actually exporting a Demo Farce and neo-colonialism under the guise of democracy and nation-building.

Luckily, there was no loss of life in the latest Demo Farce news. But there was a significant loss of liberty and/or national sovereignty in several countries around the world.

In Turkey, for example, its Supreme Court outlawed the country's largest and most popular Welfare Party which won handily the national elections the last time around. The Court also ruled that seven leaders of this Islamic party would be banned from political activities for five years. Among the seven was Necmettin Erbakan, a former Turkish prime minister, who was forced to resign from office in June 1997, after an incessant 12-month U.S. campaign against him, and the threats of a military coup.

Instead, Turkey now has an allegedly "secular" prime minister whose main function seems to be kowtowing to the State Department, and building the "diplomatic and military bridges" to Israel, another supposedly secular U.S. ally in the Middle East. In other words, by disenfranchising the majority of Turkish voters, the U.S. government seems to be deliberating stoking the Islamic religious passions in that country.

The idiocy of such a U.S. policy is staggering. Not only because it shows that popular democratically-expressed will of the people evidently means nothing to the Washington NWO plutocrats. But also because they seem to have learned nothing from their past mistakes.

Need we say anything, for example, about how they lost Iran, an erstwhile U.S. friend, by allowing unchecked oppression to explode in an Islamic revolution in 1979? Or point out the human carnage in Algeria, another country where an Islamic party was similarly stripped of its fair electoral victory? Both situations provide ample hindsight about how quickly a Demo Farce can turn into a Demo Blast (i.e., civil war).

Which brings us to another region where similar U.S. policies have produced the greatest human and material carnage Europe has seen since the end of World War II - Bosnia. First, we stoked the civil war by recognising Bosnia, a Washington-minted "country" which has never been more of a nation than is New York, for example, or Los Angeles - both multi-ethnic metropolis having seven and three-and-a-half times respectively greater populations than Bosnia. Second, our government fanned the ethnic strife when the U.S. ambassador (Warren Zimmermann) encouraged the Bosnian Muslims' leader, Alija Izetbegovic, to renege on a Lisbon peace deal which all three Bosnian ethnic factions had reached in March 1992.

The U.S. recognised Bosnia on April 6, 1992. What followed was imposition of genocidal U.N. sanctions against the Serbs in May 1992, hundreds of thousands of casualties on all sides of a civil war, and more than a million refugees during the three-and-a-half years of vicious fighting. The U.S./NATO bombing of the Bosnian Serbs in August-September 1995 clinched the victory for the Washington-backed Muslim-Croat federation. The Bosnian war was eventually halted by a U.S.-imposed "peace" agreement signed in Dayton, Ohio, in November 1995.

Since that time, 98 percent of foreign investments has ended up in the Muslim-Croat federation. Which means that the Serbian half of the country got only 2% of the NWO foreign aid. So the NWO war against the Orthodox Christian Serbs continues. It's just that money has replaced the bombs as the weapon of choice (interesting, isn't it, how that invokes similarities with the U.S. Iraq policy).

But the Bosnian Serb Republic got the 100 percent of the NWO Demo Farce in lieu if money. On Jan. 19, the NEW YORK TIMES reported that it took heavily-armed NATO troops to usher the newly "elected" Bosnian Serb prime minister, Milorad Dodik, into office. And no wonder... Dodik's "party" won only two seats, including his own, of the 83 seats in the Bosnian Serb Republic's parliament in the NATO/NWO-engineered "elections" last November. But he is a stooge of the Serbian communist dictator-turned-NWO-quisling (Slobodan Milosevic), according to Vojislav Kostunica, the leader of the Serbian Democratic Party. Which is why Dodik was picked as prime minister by another NWO vassal, Biljana Plavsic, the Bosnian Serb president.

Can you imagine a "democratic" country anywhere in the world where a person who won only 2 percent of the vote, especially if even that was done fraudulently, gets to be the prime minister? This writer can't. Which is why Bosnia is a new example of a "banana republic without the bananas." Meanwhile, over 60 percent of the electorate who voted for the two Serbian nationalist parties are now effectively disenfranchised.

Now, changing the horses for a moment from politics to economics, if we were to ask you which country leads the world in terms of its gross domestic product (GDP) growth, what would you say?

The correct answer is: BOSNIA.

Bosnia's GDP increased by 50 percent in 1996, the first post-Dayton year, according to the London-based ECONOMIST (Jan. 17). Bosnia's GDP rose by 30 percent in 1997, and it is expected to surge by another 35 percent this year.

We won't put you through another question-and-answer quiz about the world's second-fastest growing economy. It's Albania, another country which has just had a close brush with civil war, and where international troops and monitors were installed in 1997, ostensibly to prevent it.

Closer to home, we saw similar tactics at work in El Salvador, Panama, Haiti...

See a pattern? First destroy them, then take over and rebuild them. Which kind of puts an NWO "black humour" spin on an old one-liner:

QUESTION: What's the difference between mechanical and civil engineers?

ANSWER: Mechanical engineers build the weapons; civil engineers build the targets.

Either way, both the destruction and the rebuilding of national assets helps keep the NWO factories busy. Either way, the Big Business wins.

And who loses? Well, for example, the 200 million humans killed by the governments in the 20th century alone, according to the University of Hawaii professor, R.J. Rummell, certainly would qualify as losers. And so could Liberty and National Sovereignty which are now also on the endangered species list.

In other words, what we are seeing is an evil, genocidal, parasitic, Machiavellian-style cynical industrial-financial elite enriching themselves on the backs of other fellow-humans' pain and suffering. It's just that the weapons and the targets; the engineers and the victims; the countries and the ideologies... had different names in various NWO deadly cycles.

Is there a way to stop the NWO beast before it eats us all? There may be. And it starts right here, in the good old USA, where people have the legal means to do it, and where citizens cherish and nurture liberty as inextricable part of our traditions and culture. But do we have the will to do it?

[As you contemplate your answer to this question, here is the 1998 New World Order version of the "Niemöller Poem" for your perusal:

"First they came for the Serbs, and I didn't speak up; I wasn't a Serb;
Then they came for the Russians, and I didn't speak up; I wasn't a Russian;
Then they came for the Greeks, and I didn't speak up; I wasn't a Greek;
Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up; I wasn't a Catholic;
Then they came for me - an American; And there was no one left to speak up." ]

If we don't speak up now against such a New World Order - which exports a Demo Farce and neo-colonialism under the guise of democracy and nation-building - when we hear a bell toll, we should know that "it tolls for thee," as Ernest Hemingway put it. Meaning - it will toll for you and I and our lost liberty and national sovereignty.

Political:

Live from the Constitutional Convention - by Peter Mackay

Old Parliament House was buzzing on Sunday. It's been nearly ten years since Parliament was hived off to the new House on the Hill, and in that time the old building has been abandoned, invaded by Aborigines, re-opened, and restored as a joint museum and convention centre. At one stage, it seemed as if it would be demolished, but thankfully the funds were unavailable that year, and it was saved. The place literally reeks of history, and its wood panelling and fussy architecture belong to a bygone era.

The Constitutional Convention starts today and the final preparations were under way as I looked in late on a hot Canberra afternoon. Sound and video cables snaked through the corridors, security guards politely directed traffic, and embossed document packs were being handed out to all comers.

150 journalists and technicians crowded into a conference room for the media briefing and the temperature steadily rose. Security was the main topic -- half of the building has been reserved as a secure zone and the media was understandably irritated at not being able to gain access to the delegates.

"We had fewer restrictions when Parliament was here." grumbled veteran Laurie Oakes, "And we can walk freely around the new Parliament House. So what's the threat to the delegates?"

"Each other." someone muttered. True enough, I thought. Laurie can be pretty rough on a Prime Minister, but he's hardly likely to belt someone over the head with the Constitution, and I can see that happening several times a day with this lot.

A very mixed bunch of delegates. By and large, the 76 government appointees have a degree of experience. 40 are serving members of Federal and State Parliaments, and many of the remaining 36 are old salts, such as Professor Geoffrey Blainey, Dame Leonie Kramer, Bill Hayden and Sir David Smith. You'd expect these people to have a working knowledge of the Constitution, though it must be admitted that Queensland Premier Rob Borbidge was floundering a while back when the possibility of replacing Mal Colston in the Senate was raised.

It's the elected delegates that bother me. Eric Bullmore of the Shooters' Party could be a loose cannon, ex-footballer Phil Cleary is leading the scrum for the extremist republicans, and putting Bruce Ruxton one seat away from the NSW Green Indigenous People's delegate looks like a recipe for disaster. Some of them just don't have a clue. Unless Mischa Schubert of The Youth Ticket has done a bit of homework since I last exchanged e-mails with her, her main reference source was probably the back of a cornflakes packet during the Bicentennial celebrations a decade ago.

Sir David Smith pointed out, when I interviewed him in the old Senate Chamber last year, that Section 2 of the Constitution is a key indicator of whether a delegate knows their stuff. It reads: "A Governor-General appointed by the Queen shall be Her Majesty's representative in the Commonwealth and shall have and may exercise in the Commonwealth during the Queen's pleasure, but subject to this Constitution, such powers and functions of the Queen as Her Majesty may be pleased to assign to him."

This one sentence is indeed the key. It gives the Queen her only effective power, that of appointing the Governor-General, and the method of hiring and firing the Governor-General is going to be the main topic of debate at this convention. But it also implies that the Queen has vast powers and that the Governor-General is only her agent, acting as directed by a distant monarch. In fact the Governor-General's powers are given to him in his own right, and the "powers and functions" of the Queen boil down to giving the Governor-General the power to appoint his own deputy, usually the senior State Governor.

But very few delegates are going to take the trouble to read through the Constitution until Section 126, where this power is defined, and fewer still will know of the existence of the Letters Patent, which is the official document assigning the power.

They get to Section 2, conclude that this one section means that the grand old British Empire is in full swing, and decide to end the administration of Australia from Buckingham Palace. A worthy, but totally unnecessary objective.

I wonder how these people will react when some of the delegates with real constitutional knowledge explain the facts to them. I suspect that they will run through anger, denial, grief and acceptance in due course. Hopefully they will have sorted things out by the time the final vote is taken on the last day, on whether they think Australia should become a republic.

In the meantime, it should be non-stop emotional drama. I hope the security guards, from the same firm currently guarding Webb Dock in Melbourne, are armed. They may need to separate a few brawling blokes on the floor of the chamber with a warning shot over their heads. I'll be reporting proceedings from the Press Gallery on the upper level. If I survive.

Subject: Government Disgrace

Dear Sir,

In response to the disgusting "postcard" that denigrates Pauline Hanson I make the following comment and ask some questions of Senator Richard Alston.

I am of the belief that this disgraceful and racially motivated piece of trash was conceived and funded with the full blessing of the relevant minister, Senator Alston, and I have emailed him to level those accusations at him. I further believe that it was set up as another smoke screen so that the real issues facing Australia go un-noticed while our country is sold off to the highest bidder.

I challenge Senator Alston to answer publicly the following questions.

1) Did the Senator have prior knowledge of the "postcard" in question?

2) If not, does the Senator approve of the "postcard"?

3) If the Senator disapproves of the "postcard", will he then personally garantee that the perpetrator/s are brought to justice?

4) If the Senator approves of the "postcard" will the he then grant me the same funding and permission to produce an obscene publication with the heads of him and his family, (particularly the women, if any), superimposed over people of different races performing "unusual" acts.?

If Senator Alston funds and allows this type of degrading material to be distributed on the Internet then he should be and will be soundly condemned.

Allan W. Doak

Subject: The Issue

The so called Postcard on the LOUD website is the most disgusting attack yet on Ms. Hanson. Once again it shows the evil minds of the people who are against having Australia become one nation.

Personal trivia, from the global office:

Another perfect day in paradise.

Have a good one.
