Getting around Indy Carnival this year will be easy.

Buses, taxis and coaches will be operating additional services during the Indy Carnival period and in the week leading up to it.

Car Parking:

Hassle free parking is available at Parklands Show grounds on Smith Street, Southport and at Pacific Fair Shopping Centre. Shuttle buses will operate at regular intervals between the parking areas and the Main Gates North and South of the Indy track. There will be no car parking on the streets surrounding the track and access to this area will be restricted to residents and their guests only.

Bus Services:

All regular buses will be operating as well as extra services. Surfside Buslines operate twenty four hours a day at Coolangatta to Southport and on Saturday and Sunday additional Indy Carnival shuttles will operate from Broadbeach.

Gold Coast Citybus also operate regular services from Paradise Point to Southport and west to Nerang. Many of these will connect directly to Main Gate South.

Taxis:

Taxis are available to take race patrons to the Indy Carnival track.

Taxi ranks are located just outside the Main North and South gates.

Boats:

Boat access is allowed via the Nerang River to MacIntosh Island Park but all passengers must have tickets and passes.

Limousines:

Limousines are available to patrons to the race and home again but must be pre-booked. For telephone numbers check the Yellow Pages under Car Hire Services.

Charter Coaches:

Charter a coach from a local operator and go as a group to save parking or driving hassles. Check with local bus companies for details.
