The 1995 Miss Indy Quest is entering its final stages with regional finals being held in major centres over the next fortnight.
Finalists will become part of the Miss Indy Race Team for the Gold Coast's Indy Carnival on March 16th to 19th.
The final will be held on Friday, March 17th at the Cavill Mall stage in Surfer's Paradise.
This year's winner will walk away with more than Au$10,000 worth of prizes, including a modelling contract and will represent Australia at an international pageant.

It attracts entrants from all over Australia and as far away as New Zealand who compete in local competitions leading up to the regional finals.

Last year's winner, twenty three year old model and school teacher Leigh Holmes of Melbourne, went on to win the Miss Tourism International title in Malaysia.
Leigh is now busily preparing for the 1995 Miss Indy National Tour and will act as a guest judge at many of the quest's regional finals. The tour began in Queensland at Rockhampton on February 18th and will take in Coffs Harbour, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and, of course, the Gold Coast.
This year's finalist will be featured in the 1996 Miss Indy Race Team calendar to be shot by New York photographer Christian Lee.
Indy Carnival is expected to attract 250,000 visitors and will be televised throughout Australia and across the world.
Tickets and seating information can be arranged through Ticketworld on 131 931.
