Was studying to become a lawyer before quitting Sao Paulo University after two years in favour of racing. Greatly influenced by all of the successful Brazilian race drivers. Member of the Marlboro Brazilian team alongside Emerson Fittipaldi, Raul Boesel, Christian Fittipaldi and Rubens Barrichello. Single. Lives in Sao Paulo and has a residence in Miami, Florida during the race season. Enjoys all water sports and has recently taken up golf.
