Adding your new web to the
Definitive Lifestyle Guide to Australian Webs
Why should your web be listed on this Australian Definitive Lifestyle Guide (DLG)?
There are three levels of entry:
Guaranteed inclusion.
Inclusion by editorial choice.
Sponsorship.
Why should our web be listed on this Australian Definitive Lifestyle Guide (DLG)?
The Australian Definitive Lifestyle Guide currently attracts nearly 200,000 hits every week - and over 60,000 of those are from commercial visitors. It took 120 days to reach the first million hits, and just 45 days to reach the
second million hits. We anticipate reaching our third million in less than 30 days. This growth is before the GLOBE
International product has been fully implemented. We expect the traffic through this guide to grow exponentially as more countries participate through
GLOBE International.
Being seen on the Internet is all about just one thing. That is being seen on the Internet. Without traffic you might just as well put your web building money into a billboard
on the Nullabor Desert. With The Australian Definitive Lifestyle Guide you have placed your web, as a high profile listing (HPL),
as a major signboard on the Pacific Highway. It will guarantee you additional traffic - which will grow dramatically with the popularity of our DLG Series.
If you are serious about being seen on the Internet you must maximise your exposure - the HPL will go a long way in satisfying this requirement.
Guaranteed inclusion.
Commercial webs - high profile listings (HPL) on the DLG setting out the third party advertiser from the hundreds of others include:
- priority listing in existing business category.
- 100 word outline with hyperlinks* supplied by the web client.
- placement of a single graphic within the outline (logo, picture etc...)
*restricted to only one commercial web site (ie one clearly identified advertiser and not to third party webs carried by that advertiser).
Conditions:
There is a current upfront cost of $500 per annum to secure the HPL in the Australian Definitive Lifestyle Guide.
There is a payment form which may be printed out and mailed back to Global Web Builders together with your payment and a disk carrying
the HTML file and single graphic (maximum size 45k).
Global Web Builders reserve the editorial right to refuse a listing if it breaches the values of this DLG or if
the web is deemed not to be in keeping with the DLG's best interests.
Non-commercial webs in the community and government areas are automatically included as long as the quality of the information and the values represented are in keeping with
the minimum standards of the DLG Series. Commercial payment may be made if a HPL is required.
Inclusion by editorial choice
Commercial webs are carefully assessed and MAY be added if the editors of the DLG decide to do so. There is no guarantee of being placed within this DLG
and no correspondence will be entered into if you fail to be listed - unless you apply through the guaranteed listing option.
Non-commercial webs in the community and government areas are automatically included as long as the quality of the information and the values represented are in keeping with
the minimum standards of the DLG Series.
Complete the on-line form if you wish to register your site through this option.
