The Australian Coaching Council is responsible for the coordination of coaching in Australia and the effectiveness of the National Coaching Accreditation Scheme.
The main objectives of the Australian Coaching Council are to improve the standard of coaching available to all Australians at all levels of sport and to promote coaching as a professional career and to improve the status of coaches and coaching in Australia also to ensure that Australia adopts a national and coordinated approach to coaching strategies and policies.
