Clarendon is situated in the lower Lockyer Valley about one hour from Brisbane. We are a school of 25 students. There are two classrooms. One for grades one, two and three and one for grades four to seven.
Grace Lutheran College, is situated in the Redcliffe area, 30 kms north of Brisbane. Established in 1978, it is owned and operated by the Lutheran Church of Australia, Queensland District. A co-educational secondary day school with over 800 students, it seeks to prepare young people for a life of faith and service as balanced and responsible Christians. Biboohra State School is located in North Queensland, Australia. It is ten kilometres from Mareeba, close to where the water ceases to flow eastwards to Kuranda and the Barron Falls. In 1860, when the Grammar Schools Act was put forward in the Queensland Parliament, there were no secondary schools in Queensland and very few in Australia. The Government set down an Act which said that if the townspeople of a town collected One Thousand Pounds the Government would give another Two Thousand Pounds for the establishment of a grammar school. The schools were to be secondary, non-denominational and were to have boarding components. In 1887 a committee was formed to raise money for the establishment of Ipswich Girls' Grammar.
